Wow amazing, the arches make it feel as if the world is closing in on the model. Her pose seems as if shes hiding from it all, brilliant perspective and the black and white just makes it Clap

I could go on at length about how this piece
has its roots in the Pre-Raphaelities and Symbolists
of the Nineteenth Century.

But suffice to say that it is a
beautiful simple evocative picture.

I would not use the word morbid myself
I would say it is poignant and poetic.

I will want to look at this more for a while
and so it is a +fav
